Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer & Nathan Lee Graham Star In New Hulu Comedy

Matt Mutchnick & David Kohan have been a formidable duo in TV for almost three decades now, creating several shows together, including their biggest hit “Will & Grace.” So what’s their latest team-up? A new comedy hitting Hulu later this month, about three gay best friends who decide to move into a house together in luxurious Palm Springs …with one of their mothers.

Nathan Lane stars in the new series, which hits the streamer in just three weeks. Read on for an official synopsis for “Mid-Century Modern,” courtesy of Hulu:
“Mid-Century Modern” follows three best friends – gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.
Along with Lane, “Mid-Century Modern” also stars Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham, and Linda Lavin. Guest stars this season include Pamela Adlon, Vanessa Bayer, Kimberly Coles, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Judd Hirsch, Richard Kind, Stephanie Koenig, Billie Lourd, Esther Moon Wu, Jaime Moyer, Cheri Oteri, Rhea Perlman, Zane Phillips, and more.
Mutchnick & Kohan serve as co-creators on “Mid-Century Modern” with Ryan Murphy. All three also executive produce the series with Lane and Bomer, along with James Burrows, who also directs the series. “Mid-Century Modern” is a 20th Television production.
