Weak Hero Class 2 has quickly found success on streaming, landing at #5 in the United States, putting it just behind the fifth and final season of You, the new Western romance Ransom County, and Black Mirror, and #2 globally as audiences tune in to see what’s next for the outsider who wouldn’t back down. You can check out the official synopsis for Weak Hero below.

“With the aid of unexpected friends, a gifted but introverted student confronts bullies and violent foes — unaware of how dangerous his world will become.”

‘Weak Hero’ Boasts a Score of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes

Netflix

Following all the violence and betrayal from Weak Hero Class 1, Season 2 finds Yeon Si-eun being transferred to a new high school. Now, finding allies among his classmates, Yeon Si-eun must once again find the strength and the strategy to stand up against his new school’s most notorious tough guy.
While Weak Hero is sadly so underrated that it doesn’t have enough reviews from critics to determine a Rotten Tomatoes rating, audiences have come through, with Weak Hero overall holding a hugely impressive score of 91% on the Popcornmeter. Weak Hero Season 1 holds an even better 95% from audiences, while Season 2 dips slightly with a current score of 86%.
The few reviews that have emerged largely heap praise on the series, with Pierce Conran of the South China Morning Post praising Class 2 for upping the ante “with fantastic fight choreography and some wonderful new cast additions,” but did find fault in Season 2’s “grander canvas” which “does not always allow us to zoom in on the raw emotional details that added depth the first time.” Jonathon Wilson of Ready Steady Cut, however, declared Weak Hero Class 2 “an engaging, enjoyable, and eminently binge-worthy proposition in its new Netflix home.” So, it might be time to finally add Weak Hero to your Netflix watch list.
