Noah Centineo Is A Young CIA Lawyer In Netflix’s New Thriller Series

Can one letter lead to a global mystery? Netflix’s new series “The Recruit” gives a CIA lawyer the adventure of a lifetime. What comes next is a race to discover the truth while cementing his place at the agency. Creator Alexi Hawley’s credits include “Castle” and “The Following.” The showrunner and executive producer also wrote the premiere episode.

“The Recruit” stars Noah Centineo as Owen Hendricks, a fledgling lawyer tasked with a seemingly impossible job. The actor gained notoriety for his performance in 2018’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and its subsequent sequels. He recently appeared in the long-awaited DC film “Black Adam.” Laura Haddock portrays the enigmatic Mac Melanize, no stranger to comic adaptations herself having appeared in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy.” She can currently be seen in “Downton Abbey: A New Era.” ‘Recruit’ also stars Aarti Mann, Colton Dunn, Fivel Stewart, Daniel Quincy Annoh, Kristian Bruun, Vondie Curtis Hall, Byron Mann, Angel Parker, and Kaylah Zander.

The Recruit” centers around Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo), a young CIA lawyer whose first week on the job turns upside down when he discovers a threatening letter by former asset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock), who plans to expose the agency unless they exonerate her of a serious crime. Owen quickly becomes entangled in a dangerous and often absurd world of power politics and mischievous players, as he travels the world in hopes of completing his assignment and making a mark at the CIA.
A recent CIA hire unravels a global secret in “The Recruit.” The series premieres on Netflix on December 16. Watch the first trailer below:
