Pamela Anderson Joins Liam Neeson in THE NAKED GUN Reboot — GeekTyrant

Pamela Anderson will be joining Liam Neeson in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming reboot of The Naked Gun. This is a surprising bit of casting, and I’m sure it’ll be fun to see Neeson and Anderson star alongside each other in the movie. The original movie followed Leslie Nielsen as slapstick/deadpan Los Angeles detective Frank Drebin as he encountered various crimes, getting himself into hilarious situations. Based on the short-lived spoof series The Police Squad! that aired on ABC in 1982, the film series was infinitely more successful, resulting in two sequels that became solid box office hits. With all the nostalgia there is for rebooting previously successful titles, it was only a matter of time before Paramount circled back around to The Naked Gun.There’s no information on who Anderson will be playing in the movie, but this wouldn’t be her first time appearing in a comedy. She previously appeared in Scary Movie 3 and Superhero Movie, which are both spoof films like The Naked Gun.Anderson also reprised her role of C.J. Parker in the big screen 2017 reboot of Baywatch which starred Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario.Akiva Shaffer (Hot Rod, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) will direct the movie, in addition to executive producing and co-writing the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Man.The Naked Gun will be released in theaters on July 18, 2025.Source: Deadline
