Quantumania Character Posters Put the Spotlight on the Langs & Kang

Mar 13, 2023

A batch of new character posters for the upcoming Marvel sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, put the spotlight on the Langs and the Kangs. Coming courtesy of Marvel Studios, the new promos offer a close-up look at the main players in the story, including Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, played once again by Paul Rudd, Hope van Dyne aka Wasp, played by a returning Evangeline Lilly, and the villain of the piece, Kang the Conqueror, who will make his debut in the Ant-Man threequel. Check out the new posters for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania below.

All set to be portrayed by The Harder They Fall and Creed III star Jonathan Majors, Kang the Conqueror will become the next big bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now set free thanks to the death of He Who Remains (also played by Majors) and thus the unleashing of the multiverse during the finale of the Disney+ series Loki, Kang is sure to be the biggest threat ever faced by Ant-Man and his family.

The rest of the character posters offer our latest look at the rest of the core crew, with Michelle Pfeiffer’s Janet van Dyne, Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott, taking center stage.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will merely be the beginning of Kang’s torment, with the sequel acting as a “direct line” to the fifth Avengers outing, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. “Kang The Conqueror in our movie is a very different character. He’s someone who has dominion over time, and he’s a warrior and a strategist,” explains Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed, who explained why it will be Ant-Man who first does battle with the Conqueror. “That’s interesting to me: to take the tiniest, and in some people’s minds weakest, Avenger, and put them up against this absolute force of nature.”
