SPIDER-MAN 4 Rumor Claims to Reveal When We Can Expect the Film to Go Into Production and Be Released — GeekTyrant
Sep 1, 2024
We are all pretty sure that a Spider-Man 4 is going to happen, but the Marvel shot-callers have stayed quiet on the details. They haven’t even confirmed it, so we are just waiting for an announcement. But, in the meantime, a new rumor from a trusted source has claimed to know when the secret film is planning to head into production, and possibly its release date. According to Daniel Richtman (via CBM), production is scheduled to get underway next year, and he says the movie should arrive in theaters in July of 2026 – between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Richtman feels that this is a good indication that Spider-Man 4 will be another Multiverse movie. There have been conflicting reports to that regard, but if accurate, it sounds like Sony’s Tom Rothman got his way!Previous rumors have claimed that Rothman and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige have had some disagreements when it comes to the overall plot, with the latter hoping to scale the Multiverse elements back for a smaller story.Rothman, meanwhile, is said to want to capitalize on No Way Home’s success by bringing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back as their respective takes on Peter Parker. We will just have to wait and see how it all pans out. But if it really is set to head into production next year, we should be hearing some confirmation on the sequel very soon.
