The Final Season Of HBO’s Smash Hit Series Premieres On March 26

HBO subscribers already anticipated the upcoming fourth season of “Succession.” But now that it’s also the final season of the smash hit series expect all eyes to be TV screens for its March 26th premiere. And to drum up even more fanfare, HBO has a new trailer for “Succession” Season 4, which sees the Roys facing down their media company’s future sale to tech head Lukas Matsson.

Here’s HBO’s official synopsis for “Succession” Season 4:
The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.
“Succession” stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, and Alan Ruck. Other returning cast members include Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domińczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Juliana Canfield, and Jeannie Berlin. Additional cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk, and Stephen Root.
Other cast returning this season includes Harriet Walter, James Cromwell, Natalie Gold, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Ashley Zukerman, Larry Pine, Mark-Linn Baker, and Pip Torrens. New cast members for “Succession” Season 4 include Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.
How will the final season Jesse Armstrong‘s hit show pan out? Story-wise, who knows, but critically speaking, expect “Succession” Season 4 to add more Emmy nods and wins to its already estimable 48 nominations and 13 victories. Watch the new trailer for the final season of “Succession” below.
