THE FLASH Promo Spot Features New Footage of Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl — GeekTyrant

Apr 18, 2023

We’ve got a new promo spot for you to watch for The Flash, which features some new footage that is sure to spark some excitement in fans. Some of that footage features Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl in action! The preview ends with a shot of Keaton in his new Batsuit with his cowl off.Ezra Miller stars as Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash, in the movie, along with Ben Affleck as Batman, Michael Shannon as Zod, Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdú who are playing Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry Girls) and internet personality Rudy Mancuso have also been cast in undisclosed roles. Here’s the first synopsis that was shared:Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to,” says the synopsis. “That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?James Gunn previously called the film “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” It’s also been confirmed that this movie is going to unlock DC Studios’ first phase of films, known as Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters. Tom Cruise also loved the movie!Keaton is the only reason I have any interest in this movie, and after we see him back in action as The Dark Knight, that will be it. Chances are we’ll never see him in the role again, which sucks because this was all leading to a Batman Beyond movie, which isn’t happening anymore. The Flash is being directed by Andy Muschietti and it will be released on June 23rd, 2023.
