‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Trailer Teases The Troubles Ahead

Jan 28, 2025

With the new season of The White Lotus mere weeks away from premiering on our screens, HBO and Max have released the official trailer, giving us greater insight into the terribly self-centered, rich white jerks we’ll watch suffer with schadenfreudic glee starting on February 16, 2025. And by the looks of what’s being teased in the latest clip from Mike White’s hit series, a lot of rich white people are going to leave Thailand feeling very sad (or maybe even dead).
And so long as our beloved Belinda (played by Natasha Rothwell) isn’t one of the people to suffer (as she has already suffered enough thanks to the series’ first season in Hawaii), we’re totally on board with whatever happens to this particular crew of misbehaving have-it-alls.
Who Do You Think Is Going To Die In ‘The White Lotus’ Third Season?

It’s the question on everyone’s lips, isn’t it? Particularly after viewing the body bag that’s become the truest star of The White Lotus. Which also makes us wonder, as a person who can rarely, if ever, afford to go on vacation: do people really die this frequently at fancy resort hotels? How are any of The White Lotus locations still in business with so many murders going on at their various outposts? Or is this just how the world works? (Obviously, we’re not being serious here, folks — we understand The White Lotus is a satire and not a documentary.)
All this particular writer knows is that we’re rooting for Belinda to have the sort of How Stella Got Her Groove Back-level renaissance that she so clearly deserves following how dirty Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) did her in Season One. For those who may not remember/only dipped into the waters of the White Lotus’ second season, allow us to remind you: After eating up all of her time and energy, Tanya promised — and then flaked on — helping Belinda start her own wellness business. And as we all know, Tanya met an untimely, boat-fueled end during her stay at The White Lotus in Italy.

Everything We Know About ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3

Fans of the mega-hit anthology series ‘The White Lotus’ are in store for a thrilling third season, which is set to premiere on February 16, 2025.

This season, Belinda’s return to our screens is for business, not pleasure — but that doesn’t mean she’s not going to get some this season, either. As Rothwell mentioned in an interview a few months back:

“She’s still working at the White Lotus, and she’s in Thailand doing sort of an exchange program to learn more about the wellness programs that the Thailand White Lotus offers. She’s going to be a guest for the first time, even though she’s taking classes and it’s a work trip. She’s staying at the hotel, which is something that she hasn’t done before, and so we get to see her really dip her toe in the other side of life of the upstairs/downstairs of White Lotus.”

The third installment of The White Lotus will reveal its cautionary tale for the wealthy over the course of a week-long stay at the resort, translating into eight episodes of television featuring a murderer’s row of talented people in front of the camera. The cast includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood. Additional cast members include Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiris.
