Ahsoka is just a few months away and many fans are taking to social media to share their cosplays of the Jedi, with one involving Anakin Skywalker.

A fantastic Anakin and Ahsoka cosplay that looks straight out of Star Wars live-action will touch your heart given the two characters’ history. As is known from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano was introduced as the young Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker. Since then, the relationship between the two became one of Star Wars’ very best, even into the time of the Empire when Anakin became Darth Vader.

This relationship has been honored in a touching tribute by a Star Wars fan on social media named Snippy Cosplay. The images perfectly capture the essence of Anakin and Ahsoka from the Clone Wars era, showing a much happier ending for the two characters than what transpired in Star Wars canon. Knowing how tragically Ahsoka and Anakin’s relationship ended, the cosplay pulls at the heartstrings by re-imagining one of Star Wars’ best-ever father-daughter relationships before the release of the upcoming Ahsoka show.

Will Star Wars Ever Have An Ahsoka & Anakin Reunion?

With this cosplay making any Star Wars fan long for a return to the good old days of Anakin and Ahsoka’s friendship, the question is raised over whether a Clone Wars-era reunion could ever happen. As of August 2023, the Ahsoka series could see this become a reality. Hayden Christensen has been confirmed to return as Anakin Skywalker or Vader in Ahsoka, though the details of his role have been kept under wraps. Be it as a Force ghost guiding Ahsoka through her journey in the New Republic era or flashbacks to the Clone Wars, Ahsoka could easily serve as a way to continue exploring the titular character’s relationship with her former master.

Obi-Wan Kenobi made it clear that Hayden Christensen is more than eager to return to the role of Anakin. That series also included Christensen in flashbacks to the time of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, meaning Clone Wars-era scenes could be included in Ahsoka. That being said, it is unclear as yet what role Christensen will play in the upcoming series, but if the heartwarming cosplay above gives anything to wish for, it is a happy, heartfelt Star Wars reunion for Snips and Sky Guy.
