Netflix has released the first trailer for a new heist action comedy titled Lift, which comes from director F. Gary Gray (MIB: International, The Italian Job) and stars Kevin Hart. In the movie, an international heist crew races to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane while flying at 40,000 feet.Hart plays a master thief named Cyrus Whitaker, who is “wooed by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to pull off an impossible heist with his international crew onboard a 777 passenger flight from London to Zurich.”The movie looks like it will deliver some amusing entertainment and it has a great ensemble cast that includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, Burn Gorman, Paul Anderson, as well as Jean Reno and Sam Worthington. Lift will premiere on Netflix on January 12th, 2024.
