Is a “Dexter” prequel series what TV really needs right now? Debate on that will rage on, but that’s what Showtime and Paramount+ will supply subscribers to close out their 2024 programming. Set in the early ’90s, “Dexter: Original Sin” follows TV’s favorite fictional serial killer as a young man learning how to operate in the Code his father Harry made for him.  Channeling one’s inner darkness is equivalent to growing pains, right?
