Rumored Kang Replacement Colman Domingo Said He Wanted to Play a Marvel Villain in 2022 — GeekTyrant

Jan 22, 2024

It was recently reported that Euphoria and Fear The Walking Dead star Colman Domingo is rumored to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang in the MCU. Not long after this rumor spread like wildfire, an old interview from 2022 is now making the rounds as it features Domingo talking about his interest in playing a Marvel villain. He expressed in the interview: “When it comes to Marvel and DC, I’m like, ‘I think I’m ready now.’ I’m worked out, fit, I think I want to play a villain. I just want to be the villain. I don’t want to be the good guy. I actually want to do some really nasty, dirty work.”There’s been a positive response to Domingo possibly taking on the role of Kang, but this is just a rumor and Marvel has yet to officially announce anything. The one thing we know for sure in that Majors was fired by Marvel after being found guilty on one count of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree by a New York jury. If there is any truth to this rumor, we’ll know soon enough. It makes sense that if Marvel is looking to bring in another actor to play Kang, they are meeting with several possible actors. Domingo is most likely on the list of many. But, if he is cast, I’m sure he’d do a fine job in the role. What do you think?
