Deadpool 3 Logo Revealed on MCU Boss Kevin Feige’s Latest Hat, Merges Deadpool & Wolverine
Feb 8, 2024
Summary
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teases the arrival of Deadpool 3 with a hat featuring a mash-up of Deadpool and Wolverine. The latest logo for Deadpool 3 shows a comic-book accurate Wolverine mask merged with Deadpool’s mask, suggesting the film will have a comic-accurate costume. Deadpool 3 will be the first R-rated movie from the MCU and is expected to have numerous cameos from actors in prior franchises, including Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and X-Men.
The highly anticipated first trailer for Deadpool 3 is expected to finally land during the Super Bowl, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is as excited as the rest of us, teasing the arrival of the sequel with his latest cap. Appearing at the latest Saturn Awards event, Feige was spotted at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror gala on Sunday night. Feige, who has become known for sporting a baseball cap wherever he goes, wore one emblazoned with a Deadpool 3 logo showing a mash-up of the Merc With a Mouth and Wolverine, who will be portrayed in the sequel by a returning Hugh Jackman.

While Deadpool 3 has so far been given a logo showing Deadpool’s mask slashed through three times by Wolverine’s claws, this latest logo instead merges Deadpool’s mask with a comic-book-accurate Wolverine mask in a delightfully simple style. One of the few images from Deadpool 3 has revealed that Jackman will finally don a yellow-and-blue costume for the movie, but we have yet to see a mask. Based on this logo, we can now expect it to be as comic-accurate as the rest of the suit, with black fins and white eyes intact.
Deadpool 3 has been confirmed to be the first R-rated movie to hit the big screen from the MCU, with Feige likening it to the same “big swings” that the franchise tends to take with threequels.
“How do we elevate it in the way we’ve been able to with Civil War, and Infinity War and Ragnarok? It’s very fun to be in the world of the Ryan Reynolds show.”

The First Deadpool 3 Trailer Will Debut During the Super Bowl
Deadpool 3 Release Date July 26, 2024 Studio Marvel Studios
The first trailer for Deadpool 3 is now expected to debut during this year’s Super Bowl but, in true Deadpool fashion, it might not reveal too much about the plot. What we do know about the direction of the sequel so far is that it will find Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the lead as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively, with the pair likely to embark on an adventure across the multiverse.
With the madness of the multiverse comes cameos, and Deadpool 3 is likely to be chock-full of them, with actors from prior franchises including the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, The X-Men, and more expected to feature. Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy has teased the sheer number of cameos, and was surprised by how easy they were to make happen.
“What blew my mind is how easy some of those cameos have been. People love Deadpool. People love Ryan [Reynolds]. Thankfully people also seem to like my work. They know that Ryan and I are in a groove of creative brotherhood that is unique and seems to be working. So, yeah… I love that there’s been a proliferation of casting rumors around my movie because there’s so many that its impossible to know what’s real and what’s made-up. So, all I’ll say is that starting with Ryan and Hugh… some that the world knows about. Matthew McFadyen, Emma Corrin, really.”
Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
