Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire director Adam Wingard has offered a promising update on his long-gestating ThunderCats movie, revealing that the adaptation of the beloved 80s cartoon could be “the next thing” he does. Speaking with Gizmodo, Wingard revealed that he and his writing partner Simon Barrett are now “actively” working on the Thundercats project again, with the movie one of their “top priorities.”
