Adam Savage shared a video on Tested this week in which he visits the workshop of master Star Wars sculptor Tony McVey.McVey is the concept artist behind characters such as Star Wars’ Salacious Crumb and he also sculpted Grogu’s concept maquette during the production of The Mandalorian. Tony gives “Adam a tour of his shop, filled with both current projects and artifacts from his storied career working on some of our favorite films.”I love this kind of stuff. I love all of the art aspects that go into making these kinds of amazing films and shows that we enjoy watching.I’ve always wanted to be able to do stuff like this, but I just never had those freakin’ awesome art skills.
