It sounds like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney will be one of the many, many cameos in the upcoming MCU outing Deadpool & Wolverine. During the latest episode of the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds revealed that he has promised McElhenney a role in the Marvel sequel, but dared not divulge any more details for fear he was being followed by a “Marvel drone.”

During Welcome to Wrexham, which is available to stream on FX on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in the U.K., Reynolds and McElhenney are shown on set with the former describing the Deadpool & Wolverine scene to the latter. Of course, this being the super secretive world of Marvel, and with drones hovering, everything but their faces is censored. However, you can check out a telling image from their conversation below…

But, while they’ve done what they can to keep things a secret, we may still be able to discern McElhenney’s role in Deadpool & Wolverine. Despite initially being advised not to by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, the Deadpool sequel will see Logan star Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine. And the actor recently explained why, despite the critically acclaimed 2017 outing bringing the character to the perfect ending, he wanted to come back for more.

“I was on my way – I was just driving – and literally just like a bolt of lightning came this knowing, deep in my gut, that I wanted to do this film with Ryan… for Deadpool and Wolverine to come together. And Jacqueline, I swear to you, when I said I was done I really thought I was done. But, in the back of my head, ever since I saw Deadpool 1, I was like ‘Those two characters together…’ I knew it: I knew the fans wanted it. Ever since I put on the claws fans have talked about these two, so that had always been there, but I just knew.”
