Watch ‘The Bear’ Season 3 Trailer, Returns To FX On June 27
May 9, 2024
Aside from FX’s recent breakout hit “Shōgun,” writer/director/producer Christopher Storer’s “The Bear” has got to be the network’s most popular shows of the last few years, catching everyone by surprise when it arrived in the summer of 2021. And we won’t have to wait too long before we get more episodes of the Chicago-set drama which centers on the simmering tensions in the hyper-stressful kitchen and restaurant world. FX is set to release the new season three episodes starting on June 27, and a new trailer showcases the return of Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in their respective roles of Carmey, Sydney and Cousin Ritchie.
Other cast members in this new season include Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles.

FX’s logline for the upcoming season reads as follows:
Season three of FX’s ‘The Bear’ follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business. It’s a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.
Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities. Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season, we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow.
While there had been talk of season 3 and season 4 shooting back-to-back, we’ve heard from someone close to the show’s production that they ended filming weeks early and likely won’t be aiming to shoot that aforementioned season 4 until spring/summer of next year. I’m sure we’ll get some official word from FX once it’s time for the show to start doing press rounds, and they will give a little more clarity on that reasoning.
