‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Images and Logos Hint at an Imminent Update

Apr 23, 2025

Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams may find social media to be “a soul-sucking void of meaningless affirmation,” but others find it to be the perfect place to follow in the footsteps of the sharp-tongued Nevermore Academy student and carry out some of her signature sleuthing. Fans of Wednesday have been searching for clues about Season 2 for quite some time, and it looks like the torturous wait for an update is almost over, as several new images and logos for the Tim Burton-directed Netflix hit recently surfaced on X/Twitter.
A report from What’s on Netflix turned the magnifying glass on the new batch of promotional materials for Wednesday Season 2 after they were spotted by fans of The Addams Family spin-off online. One image appears to spell doom for Ortega’s titular teen as she is tied up in a chair with a tear-soaked face, though her handy sidekick is also perched on her shoulder. The banner features the caption: “The wait has been torture,” seemingly referencing the lengthy break between seasons, given that Season 1 premiered in November 2022.

Wednesday: 10 Storylines Season 2 Needs To Expand On

Wednesday’s first season teased plenty of storylines. However, season two has the chance to expand on many of them.

In addition to the banner, which was reportedly pulled shortly after popping up on an official X/Twitter account for Wednesday, three new logos debuted across different social media platforms. The images showcase the letter “W” in the same font as the series title, but each one appears in a different form. The first is the crystal ball Wednesday uses to call her parents, the second is the window from the dorm she shares with Enid (who is back for Season 2), and the third depicts a key from the vintage typewriter she uses throughout the series.

‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Drops New Poster Ahead of Teaser Trailer

Netflix

To coincide with these small but exciting updates, Netflix released a new poster for Wednesday Season 2 (above), replicating the image and tagline that were both used in the social media banner. A teaser for Wednesday’s sophomore outing at Nevermore will arrive tomorrow, Apr. 23, which just so happens to be a Wednesday. The trailer is expected to offer some insight into what’s in store for Ortega and the rest of the cast in the forthcoming episodes, as well as a release window or premiere date for when the second season will arrive on Netflix.
Netflix’s global fan event TUDUM is making its triumphant return on May 31 and will once again play host to surprise celebrity appearances, exclusive sneak peeks, and highly anticipated reveals for some of the streaming service’s most popular titles and its upcoming slate of films and TV shows. Wednesday is expected to be part of the extravaganza, as fans gear up to return to the eerie world of Wednesday from the minds of Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for Season 2, which will have a new mystery, a darker story, and a star-studded cast.
