‘Poker Face,’ ‘Dept. Q,’ ‘Murderbot’ & More

As we inch towards warmer weather and the winter series are officially wrapped up, May delivers some fresh new series for easy binge-watching. While there are some returning series, such as the Natasha Lyonne-starring “Poker Face,” May has a lot of new and original series on the docket. From a Tiny Fey-led comedy to a science-fiction series starring Alexander Skarsgård, to a series that follows a group of twenty-somethings trying to better themselves, there’s a little bit of everything. 
“The Four Seasons”
An adaptation of the 1981 film of the same name starring Alan Alda, the Netflix series “The Four Seasons” shifts to long form for Netflix. Created by and starring Tina Fey, the series follows the decades-long friendship between three married couples. Their relationship is tested when one divorces, which throws off their quarterly weekend getaways. Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, and more star. 
Release Date: The series premiered May 1 on Netflix.   

“Poker Face”
Natasha Lyonne returns as Charlie Cale in the murder-mystery series “Poker Face” from creator Rian Johnson. Season 2 picks up from where Season 1 ends as Charlie continues to be on the run from another crime syndicate, meeting an eclectic group of people on her travels. Guest stars include Cynthia Erivo, John Mulaney, Alia Shawkat, Awkwafina, Rhea Perlman, Giancarlo Esposito, John Cho, and many more. 
Release Date: Season 2 premieres May 8 on Peacock. 

“Love, Death, & Robots”
The adult animated science fiction series for Netflix returns for its fourth season. “Love, Death & Robots” consists of a collection of short films produced by different casts and crews. The fourth season will showcase shorts directed by notable talents such as David Fincher, Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Patric Osborne, Tim Miller, and more. 
Release Date: Season 4 premieres May 15 on Netflix.
