Meryl Streep Is Suspected Of Killing Paul Rudd In Hulu’s Hit Comedy Series

Going into Season 3, “Only Murders in the Building” didn’t really need to make a big splash. Whatever the series was doing over the course of the first two seasons has been working incredibly well, with ‘Murders’ earning acclaim, a load of fans, and plenty of awards trophies. But a splash has been made for Season 3, with Meryl Streep joining the cast.

As seen in the trailer for “Only Murders in the Building” Season 3, there’s a new death for the trio of amateur sleuths to investigate. This time, an actor has been murdered and everyone in the cast of the Broadway show is a suspect. And yes, that includes Meryl Streep, who plays one of the actors in the cast who are all potential murderers. 
The cast for the acclaimed comedy series includes Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, who are joined by Paul Rudd, Meryl Streep, and more in the new season. Martin also serves as co-creator and writer alongside John Hoffman (“Grace & Frankie”). 
“Only Murders in the Building” Season 3 debuts on Hulu on August 8. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis:
Season three finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short & Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death. Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), our trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together. Curtains up!
