Guy Ritchie’s New Crime Series With Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren & Pierce Brosnan Hits Paramount+ On March 30
Feb 28, 2025
Is there any director working today as prolific as Guy Ritchie? The British crime auteur has been on a tear the past six years, working on nine films and three TV shows in that span — and five of those projects may arrive in 2025 alone. And that’s not even counting “The Gentlemen” Season 2 for Netflix, which starts shooting later this year!

But while Ritchie film projects like “Fountain Of Youth“ and “In The Grey“ don’t have official release dates yet, one of his new TV does. That’d be “MobLand,” Ritchie’s crime series starring Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Bronsnan. The star power of those three names alone should make audiences take notice, but Ritchie is working directly in his sweet spot on the show, too: a crime show that resembles the worlds of films like “Snatch,” “Wrath Of Man,” and “The Gentlemen.”
Here’s a brief synopsis of “MobLand,” courtesy of Paramount+:
MobLand stars Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan as the head of an organized crime family, fighting for power within a global crime syndicate.
“MobLand” also stars Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, and Jasmine Jobson. Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber round out the main cast.
Along with directing episodes of “MobLand,” Ritchie also executive produces the series with Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, and David C. Glasser. Other executive producers include Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Hardy, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari. “MobLand” is an MTV Entertainment Studios production in association with 101 Studios, with Paramount Global Content Distribution distributing.
“MobLand” premieres on Paramount+ on March 30. Take a look at first-look pics from the series below. As for dates of other future Ritchie projects like “Wife & Dog“ and the Prime Video series “Young Sherlock“? Stay tuned.
