An action-packed trailer has been released for the WWII drama Lucky Strike, from director Rod Davis Lurie. The film stars Scott Eastwood, Colin Hanks, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Taylor John Smith. The script is written by Lurie and Marc Frydman, and it reunites the pair with Eastwood following their acclaimed film The Outpost.Lucky Strike is inspired by true events and set during the last major German offensive of WWII, the Battle of the Bulge. The film centers on a soldier trapped behind enemy lines as the Nazi Panzer army advances. With only a Motorola SCR-300 radio—a relatively new piece of battlefield technology near the end of the war—he has to rely on instinct, spy craft, and whatever tactical nerve he can muster to survive and find his way back home.
