A new clip from That ’90s Show unveils the return of Bob Pinciotti.

It’s a different decade, but very much the same Bob Pinciotti. In a new clip released by Netflix ahead of the premiere of That ’90s Show, the official follow-up to That ’70s Show, Don Stark returns as Bob, former neighbor to Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp). The new clip has Bob making his return in the spinoff series, interacting with Red and Kitty once again. You can watch the video below.
“They had to build all new sets but they looked exactly like they were back then. It was just like going home,” Stark recently said of reprising the Bob role in an Entertainment Weekly interview. “It was amazing, it really brought back a flood of wonderful memories. All the young people who were in the new cast were terrific, and it mirrored what it was like when we started.”

The actor went on to explain how revisiting that role was like “riding a bike,” as once he put on the curly-haired wig, he felt as if no time had passed since he last played Bob on That ’70s Show.
“Bob exists in me,” Stark said. “As soon as the clothes came on, and the wig came on, and the sideburns, and the jewelry, everything just kind of snapped. It was great. It was seamless. There was nothing to do, my Bob accent was right there at the ready, and it was fantastic. Bob is still that same guy: He means well, and he’s got a big heart, but doesn’t always think things through completely or at all.”

The Formans Are Back in That ’90s Show
Netflix
Of course, Bob and the Formans aren’t the only returning stars coming back for the new series. Most of the prominent cast members of the original will be making special appearances, such as Topher Grace (Eric), Mila Kunis (Jackie), Laura Prepon (Donna), Ashton Kutcher (Kelso), and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez). Tommy Chong has also said he’ll appear as Leo. Given the criminal trial he was recently involved with, Danny Masteron does not return as Hyde.
That ’90s Show primarily follows a new cast of characters, though things still seem a bit familiar as they’re in the same old basement in Point Place, Wisconsin. In the new series, Red and Kitty Forman welcome a new generations of teens led by their granddaughter, Callie Haverda’s Leia Forman. Other new cast members include Ashley Aufderheide (Gwen), Mace Coronel (Jay Kelso), Maxwell Acee Donovan (Nate Runck), Reyn Doi (Ozzie), and Sam Morelos (Nikki).
That ’90s Show will premiere on Netfilx on Jan. 19, 2023. You can check out the full official trailer below.
