‘My Adventures with Superman’ Season 3 Gets First Look & Release Date

May 2, 2026

Before the new live-action DCU kicked off on HBO Max and in theaters, Warner Bros. Animation added an exciting new program for the Man of Steel with the introduction of My Adventures with Superman in 2023. Starring The Boys’s Jack Quaid as the voice of this show’s Clark Kent, this anime-inspired series shows the titular Kryptonian in his early days as Metropolis’s protector, building his reputation as a superhero and as a reporter at the Daily Planet. He builds relationships quickly with Alice Lee’s Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid’s Jimmy Olsen and dives into action against some of the biggest Superman villains DC Comics has to offer. Season 2 concluded on HBO Max and Adult Swim in June 2024, showing Superman teaming up with his newly-introduced cousin, Supergirl (Kiana Madiera), to take down Brainiac and stop the supervillain from controlling Kryptonians and invading Earth. About a month before the season ended, the studios renewed My Adventures With Superman for Season 3, hopefully setting up an extended future for this highly successful story. Two long years later, the results of that renewal are finally ready to show off. Entertainment Weekly shared the first official look at My Adventures with Superman Season 3 ahead of its debut on Adult Swim and HBO Max. The outlet also confirmed that it will begin airing and streaming on Jun. 13, 2026. A new poster teased a scary new development for the show, with an image of Cyborg Superman in his debut for this show. Over half of his face is shown to be mechanical, with one of his eyes glowing red and a ball of red energy glowing in his right hand. He also dons a different version of the “S” logo than the one Jack Quaid’s Man of Steel has on his chest, and he does not have the classic red Superman cape on his back.

EW also spoke with showrunner Jake Wyatt about the new season, teasing that the team is delivering “Cyborg Superman right out of the gate,” along with Superboy later on. This new season will adapt the 1993 Reign of the Supermen arc from DC Comics, which sees multiple other Supermen come out of the shadows to claim the mantle after the original Superman’s death. While it will not be “a retread of the comics,” Wyatt did confirm that the team made “all the writers read the comics” before developing the new season. The real question for this season will be, “What’s a Superman?” as they figure out what this story could do with that premise. Elsewhere, Clark is hoping to settle down and build his future with Lois, although she worries that this will lead to her losing her place as the Daily Planet’s top reporter. Additionally, Kara Zor-El hopes to move further past Brainiac’s brainwashing and build a life for herself, focusing on finding her own someone to settle down with; this could very well end up being Jimmy, who has found a new level of fame after proving to the world that aliens are real. The series is also expected to include a brief moment for Jessica Cruz’s Green Lantern, who will then go on to lead her own My Adventures with Green Lantern series.

My Adventures with Superman Season 3 will arrive on HBO Max on Jun. 13, 2026.
