People Would Love to See It
Jun 16, 2025
Pierce Brosnan has teased his return as crime boss Conrad Harrigan, with the actor offering a promising update on the fate of his and Tom Hardy’s hit Paramount+ crime drama series, MobLand. Despite there being no official confirmation from the studio and streamer yet, speaking with MovieWeb’s own George Edelman, Brosnan revealed that he believes “they will be going ahead with a second season.” Helmed by The Gentlemen director Guy Ritchie, MobLand stars Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza, a fixer for the Harrigan family, Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, the family patriarch, and Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan, the family matriarch, with the rest of the MobLand cast including Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan, Geoff Bell as Richie Stevenson, and Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Harry’s wife. You can check out what Brosnan had to say about MobLand Season 2 and his love for the cast and crew below…
“Well, I think the whole world is waiting to see the second season, and I believe they will be going ahead with a second season. As far as I know, it hasn’t been officially announced as yet, but people would love to see it. I had the greatest time working with this great company of actors. Yeah, it’s been a resounding success.”

‘MobLand’ Season 1 Has Been a Major Hit for Paramount+
Paramount+
Though Paramount+ have yet to announce that a second season of MobLand is in the works, it’s all but an inevitability following the success of Season 1. The crime drama was met with solid reviews from both critics and audiences alike, landing ratings of 75% and 77%, respectively, on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. The series even broke a major record on the streaming platform, becoming the largest global series launch ever and garnering 2.2 million viewers. Brosnan is not the only one aching for a return to MobLand. Speaking at the premiere of the show back in March, Hardy was asked whether there would be a MobLand Season 2, to which he replied, “I hope so, I hope so.” Quickly turning to producer and CEO of 101 Studios, David Glasser, for help, Glasser replied, “There will be, there will be, yes there will be. Same team, same everybody. And Guy, and the directors Anthony Burns. Same actor, same actors.” So, it seems that Brosnan is right to be confident in his belief and faith in the show. Pierce Brosnan can now be seen sharing the screen with Samuel L. Jackson in the Western outing The Unholy Trinity. Directed by Richard Gray and written by Lee Zachariah, The Unholy Trinity promises to deliver an exciting blend of action, suspense, and grit in this tale of revenge, dark secrets, and buried treasures against the backdrop of 1870s Montana.
